I contacted J L Lofthouse & Son Ltd to request a price for sorting out the stairwell in our three storey Victorian house, after they had been recommended to me by a friend. The ancient plasterwork in our house dated back to 1890 and in places it was literally falling off the stonework! Wayne came round promptly to see me and have a look around. He was very friendly and he came back to me with a price the next day. After receiving the go-ahead, his team started work a few days later, and I have to say they have done an outstanding job! The ancient crumbling walls and ceilings have been completely transformed and it now literally looks like a new house! The smooth finish they have achieved is magnificent – it’s almost like a glass surface in places. Every member of the team was very hardworking and efficient – and fast – the entire job was completed within just five days! All in all an amazing week’s work – obvious expertise, great value for money and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone. 10/10″

The side of our house was in desperate need of repair! The render had a huge crack and the rain was getting in our home. After being let down not once but twice, we really did hit it third time lucky with these guys. Sent a message asking for a quote – got a really quick response and they were on site within a fortnight! INCREDIBLE!!

The lads are amazing! So lovely and really friendly, and so tidy! Every evening everywhere was left spotless before finishing for the day, even knowing that it was going to get messy again the day after, honestly couldn’t believe it. Won’t use anyone else going forward and will definitely recommend! Top service!

I have to say I was not only highly impressed with the skill of the plasterers and the wonderful job they have done, but how cleanly they worked, considering it is such a huge. They would certainly be my first port of call if ever I need a plastering job done. So well done.”

“I have just had J.L Lofthouse around to plaster out a bedroom ceiling. All I can say is from start to finish they were excellent. The finish is like glass and I am just waiting for it to dry to start a full re-decoration of the room. The lads were great, they turned up when they said they would, cleaned away all the mess and were good workers. If any of my friends need a plasterer I will certainly recommend. 5 Star.”
